Question: Do you require a commitment
to a minimum number of hours and days a week in order to provide
care?
Answer: No. We can do as little as
one hour of care one day a week if that is all the care that is
required. However, we do not do less than one hour of care. If
all specifically requested tasks have been completed by the caregiver,
and there is time left in the hour, the caregiver will perform
any light housekeeping tasks you request.
Question: What do I have to do to
get care started?
Answer: An RN is available 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week to respond to your request for services. We
set an appointment with you immediately upon receiving your request
for care so that a Take Care RN Clinical Supervisor can meet with
you to discuss the care you require. If your need is immediate
and you call late in the day we will make every effort to begin
care quickly. The Take Care RN Clinical Supervisor would then meet
you the following day to discuss care going forward.
Question: Can I have the same caregiver all the time?
Answer: We believe quality of care is interrelated
to consistency of care. Depending on the hours each day and the days of
the week you request, it may be possible to have the same caregiver. It
is our goal to strive to obtain consistency of care for clients so that
we provide the highest quality care.

by Medicare?
Answer: No, were are not a Medicare
agency. We are a Licensed Private Duty Home Health Agency and our

Question: Are your services covered
by Insurance?
Answer: We have an insurance verification
department which will verify the benefits you have under your insurance
policy to determine if there is coverage for the care you are requesting.
We accept assignment of benefits from an insurer. The balance owing
for care not covered by the insurer is billed directly to you.
Question: How will I pay for your
services?
Answer: We bill you weekly. The invoice
we send is a detailed accounting of the name of each caregiver,
the hours they provided care, and the cost of that care.
Question: What do I have to do if
I want to cancel the care?
Answer: We ask that you give us no
less than a four hour notice prior to the next scheduled caregiver’s
shift. We will then discontinue our services immediately.
