In 2004 and 2005, TAKE CARE sponsored and participated in The Alzheimer's Association's local Memory Walk. TAKE CARE TRANSPORT donated its van services to pick up weary walkers.

TAKE CARE sponsored and participated in All Faiths Food Bank's fundraiser, Casino Night, Aston Gardens, in 2005 and 2006. All Faiths Food Bank at www.allfaithsfoodbank.org serves Sarasota and Desoto Counties, offering hunger relief and providing community leadership and education on issues related to food, nutrition, and hunger.
In 2005, TAKE CARE, our clients and our employees donated 5 shelter boxes to Shelter Box USA, Inc, to provide shelter in Indonesia for the Tsunami Disaster Relief. Shelter Box USA at http://shelterboxusa.org is a project of the Rotary Clubs of Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, FL, USA. Each shelter box cost $900 and provides emergency housing supplies, water, tools, and cooking equipment for 10 people.
TAKE CARE is an annual sponsor of Sarasota County Technical Institute and Manatee Technical Institute. Each May, Susanne selects a top student and presents the "Outstanding Academic Achievement" award to him/her at graduation in recognition of outstanding performance in the Nursing Assistant program.
