Barbara Renzi, RN

Administrator & Privacy Officer

As Take Care Private Duty Home Health’s Administrator for both Take Care of Sarasota, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida office (including our satellite office in Venice, Florida) and for Take Care of Manatee, Inc. in Bradenton, Florida, Barbara acts in various facets, ensuring the day-to-day functions of patient care services, from employing and evaluating administrative and direct-care personnel to coordinating client care services. She has held this role since 2003, prior to which, for more than four years, she served as the Clinical Director for the Sarasota and Venice offices.

In addition to her Administrator role, Barbara also holds the Privacy Officer position across the Sarasota, Manatee, and Venice offices. She orients new Take Care employees educating them on the privacy policy guaranteeing the confidentiality of all client information. Furthermore, Barbara monitors Take Care’s adherence to the policy.

Continuing Take Care’s commitment to highest standards in private duty home health care, Barbara monitors caregiver safety relative to client care. A safety rating system has been established, which correctly matches caregiver skills to client needs relative to transfers and ambulation. Barbara regularly updates and consults with the Human Resources Manager to guarantee the safety of both the client and the caregiver.

Barbara holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Manatee Community College. She has a background in Medical/Surgical nursing as well as in Hospice/Palliative care.
