Clinical Director

Bev is Take Care of Manatee Inc’s Registered Nurse Clinical Director. Bev leads, directs, and manages RN Clinical Supervisors and is an integral and essential part of Take Care’s nursing staff.  In addition to her supervisory role, Bev works directly with Take Care of Manatee clients and family members in Bradenton, Florida.

Bev’s roles are extensive and broad in scope, ensuring that Take Care’s clients are matched appropriately with the level of care they require. She is involved in the admitting process, per patient admission criteria, and develops and implements nursing care plans for clients specific to their needs. Along with this process, she works alongside Take Care’s scheduling staff to ensure the appropriate private duty caregivers are selected to staff the client’s care needs.

Patient care supervisory visits are performed at least every 60 days or less after admission to continue in the supervising, maintaining, and case managing the client’s situation. On a regular basis, Bev stays in contact with clients and caregivers. In addition, she provides progress reports to the client’s physician when the client’s condition changes or if there are deviations from the plan of care.

Communication is an important detail within the case management picture, and Bev stays abreast of the client’s well-being through the caregivers notes and updates. She provides continuous support, direction, and supervision to the caregivers in the field.
