Clinical Director

As Clinical Director since 2002, Terry is responsible for in-depth orientations of new-hire caregivers, educating new employees on the standards Take Care requires of its employees, further ensuring the highest quality in private duty home health care. Terry is based in our Venice, Florida office where she maintains Quality Assurance logs, monitoring employee compliance with Take Care’s safety standards. In addition, Terry provides case management support to the clinical supervisors and monitors all Venice field staff. She conducts routine evaluations reinforcing Take Care’s efforts to maintain high quality personnel, providing Take Care clients with the best caregivers.

In addition, Terry plays a visible and active role in the Venice community through volunteering and networking. She has participated in All Faith’s Food Bank Fundraisers and Relay for Life. For the Chamber of Commerce in Venice, Terry is a member of the “Senior Outreach” group. Recently she joined the South County Aging Network.

Terry has more than twenty-five years of clinical and managerial experience in nursing ranging from acute care to home care. Prior to working at Take Care, Terry was a charge nurse for fourteen years on various medical, surgical, and, oncology units at a local hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida.
