Recycle Your Running Shoes!
Take Care Home Health and Take Care Advisor are partnering with Fleet Feet Sports of Sarasota for our “Wellness Friday” on Friday, July 3, 2009. If you are a Take Care employee and have a pair of gently worn walking or running shoes that you would like to donate, bring the pair into the Sarasota office on Friday, July 3. When you donate a pair of running or walking shoes, you receive an “Enjoy the City” coupon book that contains more than $100 worth of savings, while supplies last.
Take Care thanks Fleet Feet for their support! On Friday, July 3, a representative from Fleet Feet will be in the Sarasota office to discuss walking/running programs, provide free fittings for athletic shoes, and answer questions you may have about shoes and/or programs they offer.
Running and walking shoes will be donated to the Resurrection House, a day shelter dedicated to ministering to the homeless of Sarasota County, Florida. If you’re unable to make it to the Take Care of Sarasota office on Friday, Fleet Feet has a box in their Sarasota store to collect used running and walking shoes. Fleet Feet is located at 1830 S. Osprey Suite 104, Sarasota, FL 34239.
Take Care employees are invited to our offices, whether in Sarasota, Bradenton, or Venice, on Friday, July 3, 2009 to celebrate health and wellness. There will be gift card drawings, giveaways, and free pedometers, while supplies last.
