Private Duty Home Health Care

Care is designed to meet your specific needs, from as little as one hour a day to as much as 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caregiver Screening & Training

Take Care employs professional, experienced caregivers to meet a client’s independent lifestyle needs. Caregivers receive continuous education and direction from our Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisors.

A Registered Nurse appropriately matches the level of individualized, personalized care to the client’s need. Care is available at all levels:

  • Registered Nurse Geriatric Care Managers
  • Skilled Care: Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Personal Care: Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Companions

Care may be scheduled for as little as a few hours a week, up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caregiver Screening

Part of what sets Take Care apart are the safeguards we set as standards for our clients. Our caregivers are Take Care employees—not independent contractors. All caregivers are required to have background screenings and fingerprinting, as required by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).  In addition, Take Care takes the safeguards a step further and ensures every caregiver undergoes drug testing prior to hire. These measures collectively ensure a higher quality of caregiving staff.

Caregiver Training

Caregivers of all levels (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, and Companion) are required to participate in Take Care’s two-day orientation program when hired. The orientation is conducted by a Take Care Registered Nurse Clinical Director. They receive additional training and support through our On-Boarding and Mentoring Programs.

Furthermore, we protect you by being an agency that is licensed, bonded, and insured.
