Alzheimer’s Association preps Caregivers for 2009 Hurricane Season

With the 2009 hurricane season on its way to  Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and surrounding communities, there are some relevant and life-saving tips and contacts provided by the Alzheimer’s Association. Take Care directs caregivers and family members alike to their site for relevant information and contacts. This will ensure that everyone involved will be ready and aware if and when a  tropical storm or hurricane approaches.

A key to hurricane preparedness is being ready in advance. When the warnings arise it can be a stressful situation for all involved. It is difficult to plan ahead, but the Alzheimer’s Association has provided a helpful list that is organized and clear so that appropriate planning happens and everyone involved has peace of mind.
