Grateful for Our Family of Caregivers
A “caregiver” is defined as a person who provides direct care. It may refer to the activity of any person caring for another, but often caregiving relates to a specific family member or professional caregiver regularly looking after or supporting a child or a sick, elderly, or disabled person. We all think of “caregiving” differently, and our perception of the word undoubtedly changes through different seasons of life.
We were cared for as a child. Growing up, we recall different moments when the love and support of trusted adults shaped our experiences and made a difference in our lives. When starting our own families, we marry the love of our life, not truly knowing what partnering with someone through “sickness and health” will truly entail. We raise our own children, and we support our parents, grandparents, and other family members during periods of variable physical and mental fitness – because every journey varies.
We choose to care for those we love in many ways. As individuals, caregiving may be a responsibility and it may be a conscious choice. But in the world of home health care, caregiving is often a calling and privilege for our team of compassionate professionals.
During this season of gratitude, the Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care team is thankful to each client who entrusts us with their care. We are also tremendously thankful for our team of professional caregivers, nurses, and support staff who choose to care for others as a meaningful career.
We are grateful for each Take Care employee who signs up to respectfully, compassionately, and safely, care for our clients through the hands-on care, skilled nursing, and medical advocacy services we provide.
How we love and care for our family and others evolves through the wonderful, and challenging, seasons of life. For many of our clients and their families, having the support of Take Care is the best way to care for themselves or their loved ones. In fact, some of those clients are celebrating Thanksgiving today with a Take Care nurse or caregiver at their home. And for the opportunity to serve and care for clients in such personalized, meaningful ways, we are forever grateful.
If you or someone you care about may benefit from having an extra hand around the house, needs medical support, or an RN medical advocate, please connect with our team.
