Pedersen Leads as Human Resources Director

MaryMary Pedersen, SPHR, is promoted to Human Resources Director for the corporate office of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care, overseeing all human resources operations for more than 500 employees across four offices of Take Care.
 
As HR Director, Pedersen leads in the department’s growth and evolution of the HR practice. With more than 15 years of experience as an HR management professional, Pedersen strengthens the Take Care management team bringing her human resources areas of expertise: recruitment and retention, policy development, HR program design and roll out, employee engagement, training initiatives, resource planning, organizational redesign and performance management, and conflict resolution.
 
Pedersen has been the recipient of several awards for outstanding performance including the Chairman’s award for her dedication to the delivery of exemplary HR practices and support. In 2010, she received the highest level of accreditation for an HR professional: Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is an active member of both the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Sarasota Manatee HR Association (SHRA). Pedersen is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Take Care offers varying levels of care: Registered Nurses, Registered Nurse Geriatric Care Managers,   Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Companions. Upon your request, we will meet with you one-on-one to assess your needs and match you with the appropriate services. Care is available for as little as one hour a day to as much as twenty-four hours a day. Furthering our commitment to highest standards of care, a Registered Nurse is available, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to promptly respond to any questions or concerns.
