Take Care Honored with 2026 Employer Choice Award by Keiser University Sarasota

This season is filled with milestones, celebrations, and moments of growth — and on Friday, May 15, the Take Care team was honored to be part of a very special one.

During a graduation ceremony hosted by Keiser University Sarasota, Take Care Home Health received the 2026 Employer Choice Award. The recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism, and compassionate service our team brings to the community each day. It was especially meaningful to have our colleagues at Keiser recognize Take Care’s ongoing mentorship initiatives and the Emerging Nursing Leaders Scholarships, which Take Care presented during the 2025-26 academic year in honor of our agency's 30th anniversary.

We’re especially grateful for Carolyn L. Farrell, whose leadership has been instrumental in fostering strong partnerships with local nursing programs and advancing mentorship opportunities that support the future of the nursing profession.

Take Care’s Clinical Services Administrator, Susan Onuchovsky, and Jamie Jalwan, who supports Take Care with community relations and communications, were honored to attend the ceremony and accept the award on behalf of Sue, Courtney, Erika, Carolyn, and our entire team.

We are proud of our caregiving and nursing professionals whose compassion, leadership, and commitment continue to make a meaningful impact on our clients, our community, and the healthcare profession.
